On this week's Silicon Valley Insider, Keith covers the first anniversary of the EOSIO (EOS) Mainnet Launch with special guests: 1) Brock Pierce, Co-Founder of Block.One & Blockchain Capital & 2) David Packham Founder of EOS 42 and the Chintai Token Leasing Exchange.
In the first segment, Keith and David discuss the 2nd Annual Tulip Emerging Technology Conference (www.tulipconf.com) and the EOS Block Producer Summit recalling how the EOS.IO Mainnet Launch happened during the inaugural Tulip event in San Francisco last year. David talks about the progress the EOS community has made over the year.
In the second segment Keith and David discuss cryptocurrency ratings as well as the concept of token leasing and how holders of utility tokens can make income from their token holdings by allowing them up for lease.
In the third segment, Brock Pierce gives an exclusive interview post his inspirational keynote at the Tulip Conference on the importance of a community and his definition of what it means to be a billionaire. Although Brock has gained a lot of attention as being one of the first "Bitcoin Billionaires" Brock discusses his life of service and dedication to giving back to the community. He explains why it was important to be part off the 2nd annual Tulip conference because of how much the community led to the launch of the EOSIO mainnet..
On this week's Cyber-Tip Keith explains the growing threat of "Deepfakes" and how you can detect them.
On the Pivot, David and Keith discuss how Chintai's original vision of leasing tokens for EOS naturally applied to all utility tokens.
